Alaska has a lot of great National Parks – but they are ridiculously hard to get to. Most of them are accessible by bush plane and the cost can be high. Some of the parks get less a minuscule amount of visitors as a result.
Not all of the parks are hard to reach. Kenai Fjords is relatively close to Anchorage, and a beautiful drive to access. Denali is easily reachable on a car trip from Anchorage as well but is a little further away. Take a look at the list of National Parks in Alaska and see how they can be accessed – by car, by ferry, and by plane.
