I spent the entire day sleeping off whatever it is I have. I feel much better now.

I did not buy a single RTW ticket. The first leg of my journey is in the south Pacific and there aren’t really any ticket packages you can get to take you everywhere. i can get an island hopper type deal, but its not a RTW ticket package.
Beyond that, I don’t expect to be flying much once I reach a continent. I assume i’ll mostly be traveling by train or bus within Asia and only flying to places you can’t get to via land. (Japan, Indonesia, etc)
I’m also not really planning more than a month in advance, so having tickets booked that far ahead wouldn’t help me.

Anyway, I´m done a little bit of backpacking myself, Europe and some Latin Amercia, and I´m really ithcing for a round the world trip.
My question is, did you buy a round the world airline ticket, or do you plan to buy each plane ticket as you go?
