Win a $4,000 Round Trip Ticket to Hong Kong from Cathay Pacific!

Last month I had the pleasure of flying Cathay Pacific’s new Premium Economy class seat from Sydney to Hong Kong. It was almost the equivalent of what you would find in a first class domestic flight in terms of seat width, leg room and service.

Now Cathay Pacific is going to let one of my lucky readers have the same experience I had.

One lucky winner will receive one round-Trip Cathay Pacific Airways Premium Economy Class Ticket from a Cathay Pacific port city of winner’s choice – New York( JFK) / Chicago (ORD) / Los Angeles (LAX) / San Francisco (SFO) / Toronto (YYZ) / Vancouver (YVR), to Hong Kong International Airport (HKG). The approximate retail value is $4,000 USD. Just fill out the form below.

The competition will run from May 11 until June 10; the draw will be on June 12 and the winner will be notified by email and posted on the blog. Unfortunately, this is open only to citizens of the United States and Canada.

Good luck!

UPDATE : The winner is ShinYir Tong. Thanks for entering!

Do you happen to know what the blackout dates are (just out of curiosity, since obviously this will only matter to the winner!). It says in the terms “Blackout dates include but are not limited to seven (7) days before and after all major Chinese, Canadian and U.S. holidays.” — but what are the major Chinese and Canadian holidays? I’m asking because if there are several, and the blackout is a week either side of each, there may only be very specific dates left throughout the rest of the year! :)

Where do we go to enter the information if we want to enter using the “Alternate Free Method of Entry”?

“(2) Alternate Free Method of Entry: If you are not a member of the Asia Miles frequent flyer program, visit and submit an entry form with your name, complete address, daytime and evening telephone numbers (area and country code included), and date-of-birth to receive one entry (“AMOE Entry”, together with Internet Entry, each an “Entry”).”

Hey– here! We have this contest as well, but with our own ticket to give away. Readers of both sites are not competing for just one ticket, but one ticket per site. Thanks!

is this contest only open to readers of your website? Are is this contest going to have entries from other websites as well?
