venice is amazing. It was great a decade ago with my wife and I wining and dining and losing ourselves in the maze of the city. Last fall we returned with our 3 young boys and a similar wonderful experience awaited us. We did a treasure hunt where the kids had to complete 20 tasks and wandered aimlessly for a 1/2 day. Conducted the ‘Ciao Experiment’. Gelato on every corner. Stayed in a old main floor home off the beaten path. The kids played soccer with locals just like your photo. What’s not to love.

Love Venice! Makes me think of my honeymoon- I can still taste the marinara on a calzone in some piazza ristorante in that magical city…
