Hi, this is a cool photograph and reminds me of a place I work in UK where there are Highland cattle, Gordon.
I love the Black HIlls. There is a lot of beauty there that many in the US don’t know about.

Hey, what month did you take this picture? It looks like June, for western SD. I suppose this year was wet, so maybe July…
I’m asking because I’m a South Dakotan and there is three feet of snow on the ground at the moment.
I took it in early September.
You know, when Kelly, Peter, and I passed through the Dakotas, we did not get enough buffalo viewing done. That photo contains more buffalo than we saw on our ENTIRE trip.
