When I saw this sunbeam in Deer Cave, I knew I had to get the shot. I held up my cave guide for like 10 minutes just trying to make the shot right, which was very difficult given the lighting conditions.

commendable shot!
Yes.
What I did was put the camera on a hand rail and sort of found a way to get it to rest on three points. I then took 5 exposures to try and make a HDR image.
With the ISO at 400, the HDR was a total failure, but I did manage to get one exposure that was OK.
The only post-processing I do with photos is adjust the shadows and shadow highlighting, which was what I did here. In particular, you will notice a guard rail off on the right. That wasn’t really visible till is lightened up the shadows a bit.
I should also note, that the smooth black features on the ground are all piles of bat dung.
and not tripod? Nice! Was there any post-processing on this?
Awesome indeed!
Very spiritual!
Awesome shot!
