Its actually a very obvious angle. Pretty much anyone who goes to the Eiffel tower has stood under it (because you can’t enter it otherwise) and pretty much everyone turns their camera up. The rest is merely a matter of how precisely in the center you are and how wide your lens is (most people’s aren’t wide enough to take a coherent picture).
The night picture Griffin posted is excellent, way better than this one by Gary (sorry Gary :() Zoomed in and turned 45 degrees, now that’s an angle I’ve not seen.
Agree about the angle. Very unique.
Great shot! I was so excited to see this angle as I have never seen anyone else do it before. I love that angle of the tower and took it myself when I visited France. Here is the same angle at night all lit up

Gorgeous! You know, this is the closest I’ve been to the Eiffel Tower! Every time I’ve been there, it’s been closed, so I’ve always had to look up from the ground!
