Last year Passports With Purpose helped raise enough money to build a school in Cambodia. The readers of Everything Everywhere and PVP purchased enough 2010 Skull The Troll calendars to raise over $1,200 to help make that a reality.
This year Passports With Purpose is going to build an entire village in India. They are working with LAFTI an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the Dalit (untouchable) population in India. The village will be in Karunganni, located in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.
This year, my contribution is going to be something just a bit bigger. Several square feet bigger actually….
I will be providing TWO, 20×30″ wrapped canvas prints of any of the 10,000 trave photos I have uploaded on my site. These prints are simliar to what you would see hanging in a gallery. They would make an excellent addition to any room, and you can pick the photo you want. If you’d like, I’d even be happy to help you pick a photo based on a place or theme of your choosing.
Each print has a retail value of $129 and the total package having a value of $258.
If you have enjoyed or downloaded any of my photos in the past, here is your opportunity to get some galley quality travel inspiration for your home.
Here is how you can get the prints: For every $10 you donate, you can make a bid on one of the many prizes being sponsored by bloggers, including my prints. Other prizes include flight vouchers, iPads, and vacation getaways. That’s all there is.
All donations are tax deductible, so even if you don’t win, you still win.

Wish we had more people like you in the world Gary. :)

Hey Gary, great cause! Our company mounts photos to bamboo & other unique materials (one of just two in the world currently) which provides an incredibly unique eco-friendly alternative to the canvas wraps. We’d love to donate a print to this cause. Please contact us at your convenience. Thanks!
what a wonderful idea Gary, I am sure they will really appreciate those cavas prints – they are going to a great cause!
