My guest this week is travel writing legend, Don George. Over the last 30 years, Don has held editorial and writing positions at the San Francisco Chronicle, National Geographic Traveler, Lonely Planet, BBC and Salon. He has recently released the first compilation of his travel writing, The Way of Wanderlust.
During this episode, we talk about how he got started as a travel writer during a trip to Japan in the 70s, what goes into becoming a great travel writer, and the current state of travel writing.
