The Garrison Historic Area is a small district in Barbados. It was recognized by as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Barbados in 2011 for its cultural value because of the concentration of historic buildings and sites within the district. There is a historic horse-race track and a military barracks, among other historic buildings. It also served as the base for the British West India Regiment during the 18th and 19th centuries.
