It is time once again to open up the mail bag and answer the deep, burning questions that will change the course of history. Future generations will make required reading of the answers I provide here today. Wise men will use these answers to solve the riddles which have vexed humanity for eons. Parents will name their children after those whose questions were answered. Internet memes will probably be stem from the words I type.

Monday Travel Update – Vacationing in Valencia Edition

I actually saw an opera in the Valencia Opera House!

I arrived in Valencia, Spain last Tuesday after 2 week stint in the UK. I had been invited here back in March to speak at the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo to a tourism communication class on the subject of being a travel blogger. It was a fun experience and I was able to meet up with my friends Annie Bennett and Jimmy Pons. I also met Tom Hall, the digital editor at Lonely Planet for the first time.

The actual time I was speaking was quite short, so I found myself in Valencia for the better part of a week with nothing to do. The last two times I was here I was speaking at a conference and attending the Grand Prix of Europe. This time I blissfully found myself with nothing to do. I’ve been spending the last few days walking around the old city, eating at many of the cafes and kebob stands and just soaking up the nice autumn weather.
