18 Awe Inspiring Photos of Churches in Spain

I’ve had the pleasure to visit Spain several times over the last five years. One of the highlights of every trip I’ve taken is visiting the churches in Spain. From the smallest village to the largest city, you will have churches in every area of Spain. Here are a few of the photos I’ve taken over the last several years of the churches of Spain. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I did taking them.

  1. Incredible photos Gary, I especially love the Church cemetery in Barruera. What lens did you use?

  2. Beautiful! My favorite is La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. There was speculation last year that it would not be finished for another 50 years–and yet it already has been blessed by the Pope even though it is incomplete–with four climbing cranes on it!

Love the photos (Nikon 200?), from the glowing red candles at the beginning of this series to the great cathedrals and monasteries throughout. Kudos.

  3. So many fantastic images here. Makes me want to start a church series myself. My favorite is the shot from Poblet Monastery.
