Looks like an old German or Hungarian church, definitely not Romanian. It is the Transylvanian part of Romania, which became part of Romania following World War I.
Good eye! It is in Romania, but it was from a Saxon village. There was a migration of Germans there several hundred years ago.
Such an atmospheric picture. Old churches always look like they have lived amazingly rich and difficult lives.
