That’s a great shot of South Point on the Big Island of Hawaii. I’ve been there a long time ago. I recall driving on a narrow stretch of lonely road to get to the area, near to the town of Naalehu. The views are fantastic when you get there. Geographically, this is truly the most southern point of the US; whereas, Key West in Florida is the most southern point of the continental US. I vaguely remember seeing some huge waves there and wonder why this place is not noted for surfing. Maybe it’s because there is really no beach here to speak of. If you’re staying in Honolulu, you will need to books some Hawaii interisland flights to get here. The closest airport is in Kona.
Gorgeous!
