If you are after cool photos of the Opera House and the Bridge, the best place to do is on the norther side of the bridge. Just walk across or catch a train to Milsons Point station. There is a small park under the bridge there. Amazing views, best after the sunset.
Or go back to the same place where you took that photom, but after the sunset.
