This vaguely reminds me of an Earthship, whose foundation is crafted from used soda cans and tires!
Calico is not located on Route 66. It is located in Yermo, north of the I-15. Route 66 runs parallel to the I-40 which is much further south. Calico has so many interesting things to see but the bottle house is #1! There is a bottle tree ranch, consisting of about 400 bottle trees manufactured by a retired man in Helendale…which is right on Route 66.
That is incredible!
And it has windows. How’s that for irony?
So cool! I would love to see this one day.
