I have a wheeled, expandable carry-on that has served me well on domestic and international flights. After going to England a few years ago with several non-wheeled suitcases that I lugged up and down stairs to the underground and up the hill from the train station, I will never travel without wheels again!

Don’t know that I’ve gotten emotional over a piece of luggage yet, but maybe I just haven’t found the right one. I guess my $19 complete luggage set has to rank high because of the tens of thousands of miles on it, but the Lowepro backpack with computer slot and huge storage capacity would probably rank first because of the durability.
