Daily Travel Photo – Luang Prabang, Laos
Every morning in Luang Prabang, monks from the local monasteries will line up and parade through the streets to receive alms from local villagers. This usually takes the form of sticky rice and fruit. This woman was a sandwich vendor across from my hotel who took part in the alms ceremony with her young son.
