Just ask my husband - he got some pretty serious bruises across his back from being dragged across reef in Thailand. Mui Ne at least does not have a reef! He started out as a kite skiing, on frozen lakes in Canada. That seemed crazy to me, too. I have not tried it myself for just that reason!
