J and I drove hours out of our way recently to visit an old hydroelectric plant in BC. It’s nice to know I’m not the only nerd that finds those kinds of sites worth visiting.
The tragedy? It was closed for seismic retrofitting.

Edison was a good man! hydroelectric power has done a lot for improving life since the beginning of the industrial revolution.
