		<description>My grandfather was held in Baguio during World War II as a POW - he was a teenage son of a couple of missionaries living in the Phillipines during that time. He attended the so-called Brent School under the auspices of the Japanese internment. He dealt with the hardships quite well, though I&#039;ll never know the full extent of them, of course.</description>
