 My name is Gary Arndt. In March 2007 I set out to travel around the world. I sold my house, put my possessions in storage and hit the road with my camera, laptop, and clothes. I am wondering if those monkeys have that wicked hairdo all the time. Saw exactly the same when I watched Planet Earth.

My first thought when I saw it was that it was a mango stone, but on inspection of the larger and following photos on flickr I can see it really is a banana. Great shot!
