I used to lived on the "third" floor of an apartment building. It was really the 4th. I got a lot of exercise on those stairs. LOL I disagree that Asian pop and rock like you mentioned will ever make it big in the states (maybe other places) but I do know a few names have gained quite a bit of international reputation. Sounds like the same thing happened with the floor numbering system. I do though agree, their electrical plugs are just horrendous.
